Trip to Trieste, Italy - part 1

Trieste is an important port on the shores of the Adratic Sea, very close to Slovenia and Croatia.

It has a nice historical centre, which was under heavy refurbishment at the time we visited it (we spotted a lot of cranes raising above the roofs of the buildings).
