Bretzel - recipe (including photos)

Because today is Bretzelsonndeg in Luxembourg, we also prepared some sweet "bretzels".

Ingredients:
  • 650 grams of flour
  • 200 milliliters of milk
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 13 grams of yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • salt



Mix the warm milk with the yeast.


Add the mixture over the flour.


Add the salt, the melter butter, the sugar, 1 entire egg and 1 egg white and mix.



Let the dough rest for 45 minutes. Make little pretzels.



Spread the remaining egg yolk and some sugar over the pretzels.
Put them in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
