Salted cheese pie - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients for the dough:
  • 400 grams of flour
  • 200 milliliters of warm water
  • 50 milliliters of sunflower oil
  • 15 grams of fresh yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of honey


Mix the yeast with the water and the honey.


Add it over the flour. Add the sunflower oil and the salt and mix for 5-10 minutes.
Let the dough rest in an warm place for one hour.


Ingredients for the filling:

  • 500 grams of fresh cheese
  • 150 grams of yoghurt
  • 150 grams of fresh cream
  • 5 eggs
  • salt
  • parsley

Mix 4 entire eggs and 1 egg white with the cheese, the yoghurt, the fresh cream, the salt and the chopped parsley.


Divide the dough in two equal parts.

Spread the first half of the dough on the table, press it well with a roller to make a thin sheet and then cover the tray.
Add the filling over the dough.


Repeat the operation with the second part of the dough and then cover the filling with it.



Above, spread the beaten egg yolk.


Cut the pie in equal pieces before putting it in the oven.


Let the pie in the oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 30-35 minutes or until brown.
