Homemade chicken shawarma - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients for 4 persons:
  • 450 grams of chicken
  • 400 grams of potatoes
  • 300 grams of fresh cabbage
  • 100 grams of cherry tomatoes
  • 100 grams of natural yogurt
  • 6 pickled cucumbers
  • 6 pickled paprika
  • 3 spoons with fresh cream
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic (according to your taste)
  • 1-2 spoons with balsamic vinegar
  • pita bread
  • salt

Clean and slice the meat.


Fry the meat in a spoon of olive oil, until golden .


Separately clean and cut the cabbage. Add the sliced tomatoes, salt and 1 or 2 spoons with balsamic vinegar.


Mix the fresh cream with the yogurt and the mashed garlic.


Fry the potatoes.


Slice the cucumber.


Heat the pita bread in a pan or in the oven.


On a plate add the pita bread and then add the ingredients: the chicken, the pickled cucumber, the cabbage and the tomatoes, the yogurt sauce, the pickled paprika and the potatoes.
