Homemade brioche - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients:
  • 330-350 grams of flour
  • 150 milliliters of milk
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 15 grams of fresh yeast
  • 30 grams of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • salt


Mix the flour with an entire egg and an additional egg white, the fresh yeast previously mixed with one spoon of sugar, the milk, the vanilla sugar, the rest of the sugar and the salt .


Add the melted butter over the dough and mix well.


Let it rest for 30 minutes.


Divide the dough in 10 parts and then transfor each portion of dough into a brioche.

Spread the dough on the table and cut it in strips.


Roll the dough alongside the strip cut and then make a snail like form from the resulting dough string.


Let them rest for another 30 minutes.


Brush the remaining egg yolk and put the brioches in the oven at180 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
