Plum jam biscuits - recipe

Ingredients for 20-25 biscuits:
  • 300 grams of flour
  • 150 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • half of a teaspoon with baking powder
  • some sunflower oil for greasing the tray
  • plum jam (quantity according to preference)

Melt the butter. Add the sugar and mix. Let it cool!

Add the egg and mix until incorporated.

Separately mix the flour with the baking powder. Add the butter/sugar/egg composition and mix until you obtain a slightly soft dough.

From the dough separate a small portion, form a small ball and put it in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Then all the other dough put in the fridge also for 20 minutes.

Take out the dough for the fridge and spread it on the table.
Make forms.

Grease with some sunflower oil a muffin tray and add the dough forms in the tray.

Above each of them add some plum jam or any other jam you have or you like.

Now, take out from the freezer the small dough ball and grate it above the biscuits.

Put the tray in the oven and let it bake for about 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Enjoy!
