We were extremely impressed mostly with the imagination of the director and its team, by virtually inventing a planet with its own range of landscapes, animals, plants and so on.
The story was fine and was a good support for the fantastic display of visual effects and computer animations.
And the 3D version was the cherry on the cake:
- a crystal clear image
- an abundance of details easily observable
- most importantly, we had the feeling that the action was developing just millimeters from our eyes and, some times, it was like we were passive watchers of the scenes right there where they were happening, and not from an armchair in a cinema hall.
The extra EUR 3 paid compared to a 2D movie was worth it and we would strongly recommend this movie.
