Most of the pictures below are taken in Trastevere, just across the river (literally :).

We recommend buying the 3-day or 7-day public transport passes. We bought the latter for 24 euro per person. They come in handy in such a big city, where attractions are spread around over a large area.They can be bought at the automatic machines in the subway stations.
