Trip to Sønderborg, Denmark

On a sunny day, that is a great way to start exploring Denmark.

It needs to be said that things will go downwards from here (as you move upwards in Demnark), but for now enjoy one of the most scenic waterfronts in Europe.

Trip to Bad Oldesloe, Germany

We used the town as a stopover en route to Denmark.

The town is a destination for people looking for salt-based cures and treatments (hence the name starting with Bad).

Otherwise, it's not really worth the trouble.
