Stuffed chicken rolls - recipe with step-by-step photos

Ingredients for 4 pieces:
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 100 grams of bacon
  • 100 grams of cheese 
  • 4 spoons with olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons with mustard
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • a few toothpicks
  • pepper
  • paprika 
  • thyme


Clean and cut the chicken breast in four long and thin layers.

Put each piece of chicken meat over 2 or 3 strips of bacon, then add on it some crushed garlic, some mustard, thyme, paprika, cheese slices and then roll it.

Stick two toothpicks in each roll, to be sure it will remain rolled.

Repeat the operation with every piece of chicken meat.


Add the rolls in a baking bowl (in which you put half of the olive oil).

Brush the rolls with the remaining olive oil, add some pepper and then put it in the oven at 180 Celsius degrees for about 40 minutes or until the meat is tender.



You can serve it with some salad, mashed potatoes or just some potatoes with rosemary in the oven.

Eating out - Restaurant L'Ancre d'Or, La Roque-Gageac

The restaurant was very crowded, although the weather wasn´t so nice.
The service was quite fast considering.

The food was good and at a decent price. They have a 3 course set menu for 17 or 21 Eur.

Homemade raspberry ice cream - recipe

Ingredients:
  • 200 milliliters of homemade yogurt
  • 150 grams of mascarpone
  • 150 grams of raspberries
  • 100 grams of sugar


Clean the raspberries and put them at slow fire together with the sugar. Let them simmer for 5 minutes. Mash the composition and let it cool! Strain the seeds.


Add the yogurt and mix well.


Add the mascarpone cheese and mix until well incorporated. Put it in the freezer over night.


Enjoy!

Hotel review - Toscana Ambassador , Poggibonsi, Italy

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. No noise during the night and decent breakfast .

Great hotel to use for a Tuscany road-trip.

Free parking places and free wi- fi.
