A cellar wine to admire!

It was our first time we've seen a cellar with so many bottles of wine.

That was just one of the many in Saint Emilion.

Hotel review - Hotel Etap (Ibis Budget) Merignac, France

The room was bright and clean, and the breakfast was basic, like in all the Etap hotels.

The Hotel is within walking distance of the Bordeaux airport, so it would be the ideal place to sleep for an early next morning flight.

The overhanging gardens of Marqueyssac, France

The gardens are arranged nicely with topiary only in a small area at the entrance. The rest is just walking in the forrest.

Looking for a traditional restaurant, we found this one.


The food was good and the restaurant was soon full. Decent prices.

You can walk for hours and you can still find it beautiful.

All in all, it is probably the quality/price option in the area.
