The food was decent and the restaurant was nice and cozy.

Eating out - Hotel Autentic Adler, Rasun di Sotto, South Tyrol, Italy

The food was a bit salty for our taste, but overall it was a discovery.

It´s nothing like the food you tried so far in Italy, because it´s with strong Austrian influences. The menu of the half-board basus was different every night of the week.

First of all: don´t ever, ever eat there!


The food was execrable. The ribs were stale and were left with all the thick layer of pork fat. The potatoes were probably boiled several days earlier and now just microwaved.

The waiter was with a lot of attitude. It took some arguing with him to convince him we want another side dish than the one in the menu, even if we clearly told him we will pay for that.

Despite there being just 2 tables in the whole restaurant, the waiter or the cook cooked something else than what was order by a member of our party. The sauce at the salad tasted liko those from supermarket.

The dessert was also bad.

Located at the border with Lithuania.

The food was decent, but the service was very slow.

The food was good and the service was quite fast.

The restaurant is right in the main square (not the usual place we would recommend as the food is for tourists only, but we were hungry and did not have time to look for something else).

Eating out - Rataskaevu 16, Tallinn, Estonia

Probably the best restaurant in town with very friendly staff:).

We´ve been there twice and the food was awesome. A well deserved 1st place on TripAdvisor´s list.

The food was very good and the price was decent (30 euro per person for a 3-course meal, tap water and a glass of house wine included).

Eating out - Ferme Bout de Cote (Lacam-d'Ourcet, France)

The food was edible and rather basic, nothing extraordinary: better than in some restaurants, but not better than what we cook at home.

The price was the one practiced in the restaurants : 26 Eur/pers (for a 3-course menu, including tap water and a glass of house wine).

We didn´t like the cat wandering around on the kitchen floor.

Restaurant review - Iris Restaurant, Edinburgh, Scotland

The service was fast  until a few other tables we´re occupied. After that it was really slow.

If you are hungry it´s best to be there at 7 o´clock sharp in the evening, because arriving later would mean waiting too much for food.

Probably the most decent food in Edinburgh. Prices as high as anywhere else.

They told us we couldn't pay by card because the machine is broken. That just seemed as an excuse to force to pay by cash (no fees to the credit card company and easier on the tax burden :).

Eating out - Restaurant Rocpool, Inverness, Scotland

We were there at 6 o´clock in the evening and we first had some starters made with some ready-made  sauce which made us sick later in the evening, then a beef steak who could not be eaten because the cow was 100 years old, and the cheapest chicken they could buy.

Everything was very beautiful arranged on the plate :)), if that counts for you.

Overall it was a disaster. Don´t know why it´s on the first place on TripAdvisor.

Eating out Pensiunea Select, Romania

The restaurant can be found on the road Ploiesti -> Targoviste, after the I.L. Caragiale village.

The food was good and fresh. The service was fast.

The only down side, valid for almost all the restaurant in Romania, is that people are allowed to smoke inside the restaurant.

Good, fast service and overall at a decent price.

Eating out - Churrasqueira o Cofre, Lisbon, Portugal

Fresh fish at only 10 Eur per person, a good simple Portuguese wine and fast service before 8 pm.

Eatig out - Restaurant A Canastra da Ribeira, Porto, Portugal

Fast service despite the crowded tables and fresh fish.

Acceptable prices,  considering it was on the banks of the Douro in the middle of the tourist area.
