The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Good breakfast (including hot items).

Free parking places and close to a shopping center.

That was about it from Bologna. One of the largest Italian cities with a well preserved and restored city center.

The room was clean, the breakfast was very good and the hotel is vis-a-vis the railway station.

The only negative point is that if you want to leave the car in the hotels parking you have to leave also the key of your car there. They said it's a rule, because if something happens they have to take out all the cars. It wasn't our first trip in Italy and we know that only few hotels have this practice, and this is only to make more money out of a small parking place (instead of having 5 cars parked properly, each with free access, they put in 10 cars, some of them blocking the others).

If you go there by car, pay attention to the restricted access area around the city center. Only cars that receive an authorisation from the municipality are allowed.

Bologna is a beautiful city with many things to do and to see.
Don't forget to try pasta and ice cream.
