Rather small, but comfortable and clean room. Decent breakfast.

The only pitfall of Dusseldorf: it didn't seem like the best place for shopping. For that it's better to go to the nearby Koln.

Mix of old and new architecture.

Lively city center, with lots of pubs and restaurants. We were lucky that we went there during the Europe Day (9 May) and just before the Eurovision song contest, so there were concerts in the center, presentation stands for each European country, flags all over the place.
