Eating out - Restaurant Miramare, Otranto, Italy

The food was good, but as you can see we didn't ordered something sophisticated.: just some fried fresh fish with vegetables (we actually chose the raw fish ourselves from a platter).

The price was a little bit high taking into account that we were by the sea and the price of the fish could have been lower.

The service was fast and while the food is prepared you can admire the view.

Lots of historic monuments as well: old fortifications, the castle, old churches.Do not forget to stop for shopping, as well.

Very nice old city, on the south shores with the incredible blue transparent water.

Hotel review - Hotel La Plancia, Otranto, Italy

The room was very small. Actually from the door to the bed there was only one step.

Also the cleanliness of the room wasn't their strong point either.

The breakfast was very poor.

The only good points were that the hotel is very close to the beach, and there was free public parking.
