Trip to Prague, Czech Republic - part 3

Public transportation is relatively cheap: 24 CZK (less than 1 euro) for a ticket giving right to a 30 minute trip.

For good and cheap food and drinks, go at the foot of Charles Bridge (on the castle bank). There are some food stands where you can have some grilled meat, some traditional cooked courses and some desserts.

Trip to Prague, Czech Republic - part 2

What is pleasantly striking in Prague is the number and variety of street artists. It really gives life to the streets and good humour to tourists.

Trip to Prague, Czech Republic - part 1

A few years ago, on a cold winter day, we decided to visit Prague. That was our first time in Prague. It was nice ... but cold.

However, a few days ago we took a week-end city trip to Prague, to enjoy the city during the summer time. The weather was not perfect this time either, but the temperature was at least above 20 degrees Celsius.

As you can read in any travel piece about Prague, it is worth taking the trip, however do not plan more than 2 days for it.

Prague is a lively city in any season, with the crowd seeming to get younger, thus a perfect place for parties.

Trip to Prague, Czech Republic

A few years ago we've visited Prague during the Christmas market.

The quality of the pictures is not so good, but the city is really nice.
