Hotel review - Sheraton Roma Hotel & Conference Center, Rome, Italy

The room was clean and nice.

Breakfast in the lounge area was very spartan: only one type of salami and one of cheese, few croissants, butter, jam and juice.

Free unguarded parking.

The Pantheon, Rome, Italy

The Pantheon is a must in Rome, being a fully standing and functional building since the times of the Romans.

It is located in Piazza della Rotonda (midway between Piazza Navona and Fontana di Trevi). The restaurants in this square are to be avoided, as they are just tourist traps with frozen food and cocky waiters.

You can find it in every corner of the city, and it is one of the best ice creams we ate in Italy.

The best ones we ate in Rome (thought the confectionery shop advertises as typical Sicilian).

It is in the centre of Rome, on the small street between Trastevere (crossing the river on Ponte Sisto) and Campo de' Fiori.
