It's recommended to see the shores both at low tide in the afternoon and at high tide in the early morning - you have the feeling like it was a special visual effect.

The old town on the island surrounded by imposing walls would really deserve to be classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Another aspect that we saw for the first time: man made pools that remain filled with water even at low tide (see the third picture below).

The boats resting on the sea bed at low tide were impressive (for people living all their life in the middle of the continent).
