Locarno, Switzerland by day

Not so charming as by night, but still worth a visit.

Take the funicular to see the panoramic view of the lake and the town.

Chillon Castle, Switzerland

Numerous buses full of tourists. Unfortunately, with the infrastructure development, now the castle is strangled by national road passing just in front of it.

Did not pay the admission fee to enter, as it seemed exorbitant.

Up, on the Monte Brè, Lugano, Switzerland

After  changing  two funiculars and about 10 minutes ride in total, finally you reach the top of the world :)

Well, not quite the top of the world but enough to see the lake and the valley. The view is spectacular. On a sunny day it should be something to remember forever.

Disappointing: a small shopping street and the same waterfront that you can find anywhere else.

A small village located in a "cul de sac" surrounded by Lake Lugano. It's a rather long drive to this place, but its scenic so at the end it's well worth it.
