1st of May in Luxembourg City

Many events took place in the City yesterday: one of the big labour unions held a celebration at Abbaye de Neumunster; an open air arts fair was held in the Grund and various concerts took place in Place d'Armes.

Below 2 short videos of the concert held in Place d'Armes by a band called "La Guinche".

The best small band we've seen perform in the City. Unfortunately, the videos were made with a mobile phone, so the quality is not the best.

2011 Buergbrennen, Luxembourg Ville - photos and videos

This year we took part for the first time at this traditional celebration.

A pretty big crowd attended (for Luxembourg standards). At the end, we concluded that it is a really nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon (barbecue, drinks, acquaintances, etc.)

We´ve noticed that many people are looking for pictures from the concert held Monday night by Tokio Hotel at Rockhal.

Since we are slightly out of target group for this band, we did not see the show.
