Couscous with meat balls - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients for couscous:
  • 400 gr of tomatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 4 zucchini
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 eggplant
  • 100 gr dry couscous
  • laurel (leaves)


Ingredients for meat balls:


  • 500 gr of veal or pork 
  • 250 gr of tomatoes sauce/pulp
  • 1 egg
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot


Preparation of meat balls:
  • peel the onions and chop them
  • grate the carrot
  • mix these well with the minced meat
  • make little balls out of mixture and fry them well with oil in a pan


Preparation of couscous:
  • boil the vegetables very well
  • put the couscous in a bowl and pour boiled water over it:
