Trip to Baia Mare, Romania

A very small city center. Pretty much nothing to see. Can be used as a base for exploring the more interesting rural landscape in the famous Maramures region.

Eating out - Restaurant Rustic, Baia Mare, Romania

The food was good and the interior of the restaurant was nice. The prices were reasonable.

Being on a Friday night, there was also a guy who sang live.

It's about 1 km on foot from the city center (behind the Sports Hall - Sala Sporturilor).

The room was clean and very big. We had two bathrooms and a very nice bed :).

The breakfast was great.

Very close to the city center.

Free internet, free parking.

We would strongly recommend this hotel.

Eating out - Restaurant Millenium, Baia Mare, Romania

The food was average and not fresh. What's worse is that in the center there weren't any other restaurants.

Even so, we wouldn't recommend this one.
