Hotel review - Hotel Esplanada, Tulcea, Romania

First of all don't stay there!!!

In the hotel is a bad smell that persists in the rooms. We tried 2 rooms until we found one...acceptable.

Everything is old and smelly. Why it's a 4 star hotel? Don't know!! Why it has such a big ratting on the booking sites? This is another mystery.

The breakfast was decent, but not for a 4 star hotel. We wonder also why the breakfast it's in a smoking room?

Trip to Tulcea, Romania

Nothing to see here but it can be used like a starting point for the Danube Delta.

The food was OK, but the smoke from the cigarets wasn't.

The food was good but a little bit too salty for our taste.

The restaurant is not in the city center, but it is worth a visit. It is a self-service restaurant, with several soups and several main courses each day. This means that the food is done on that day.

Highly recommended.

The room was clean and the bed was great.

The breakfast was very good.

Free wireless internet and free parking in front of the hotel.

In summary, this is the perfect choice for Tulcea.
