Chicken with mushrooms in white sauce - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients:
  • 500 grams of chicken breast
  • 500 grams of fresh mushrooms
  • 200 grams of fresh cream
  • 150 grams of yogurt
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 1 spoon with flour
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • parsley
  • pepper
  • salt


Melt the butter and add the chopped onions and the chopped garlic.
Let it fry until yellow.


Add the meat and let it fry at slow fire for 15-20 minutes, covering the pot.


Add the mushrooms and let it fry for another 15 minutes or until the mushrooms are cooked.


In a separate bowl mix the fresh cream with the yogurt, the salt, pepper and the flour.


Add the fresh cream mixture over the meat and let it cook for another 5-10 minutes or until it becomes thick.

Add the chopped parsley and take the pot from the fire.


Can be served with polenta.

Chicken with mushrooms - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients:
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 6 mushrooms 
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 young onions
  • 5 pieces of garlic
  • 3 spoons of olive oil
  • 3 spoons of soya sauce
  • 2 spoons of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 spoon of red wine
  • 1/3 teaspoon of salt


Cut the chicken, the bell pepper and the mushrooms in small strips.
Cut the onion in rings and chop the garlic.


In a bowl, mix the chicken strips with 2 spoons of soya sauce, the wine,1 spoon of flour and a pinch of salt.

In a pan add 2 spoons of olive oil and the chicken and let it fry until golden.


 Take out the chicken, add the remaining oil, the young onion and the garlic and let them fry for a few seconds.


Add the bell pepper and let them cook for 2 minutes.


Add the mushrooms and let them cook for 1 minute.



Add back the chicken and let everything cook for a few minutes.
Add the sugar, the remaining soya sauce, the salt and the remaining flour mixed with 3 spoons of water.
Let everything cook for a few minutes.
