Chicken in tomato sauce - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients:
  • 400 grams of chicken meat
  • 700 grams of tomato juice (use the Italian one, with no additives - only tomatoes and salt)
  • 30 milliliters of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • laurel
  • thyme
  • salt

Heat the olive oil and let the chicken fry for 30 minutes at medium fire.


Take out the chicken and in the remaining olive oil fry the onion until yellow.

Add the chopped bell pepper and let them cook for a few minutes.


Add the chicken, the tomato juice, the thyme, laurel, and salt.

Cover the pot and let it cook for another 30 minutes.

When ready add the chopped garlic and put the pot aside.

 Enjoy!

Carp in spicy tomato sauce - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients:
  • 1 big fish (ours was about 2 kg)
  • 200 grams of cherry tomatoes
  • 150 milliliters of white wine
  • 150 milliliters of tomato juice
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 2 spoons of olive oil
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • thyme
  • salt

Clean the fish and cut it in medium pieces.


Add salt, paprika, thyme, pepper and 3 chopped garlic cloves.
Grease the pan with the olive oil and add the fish.
Bake it at 160 degrees Celsius for about 40 minutes.


Meanwhile prepare the sauce.
Mix the tomato juice with the chopped tomatoes, the wine, the remaining garlic, the sugar, salt, pepper and paprika.
Boil everything for few minutes at medium fire.


 Add the sauce over the fish and put it again in the oven for 15 minutes.


You can it it with polenta or with fresh bread. Delicious!!

Chicken in tomato sauce with garlic - recipe (including photos)


Ingredients:
  • 500 grams of chicken
  • 2 onions
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 200 grams of mushrooms
  • 500 grams of tomato sauce
  • 2 pieces of young garlic
  • 50 milligrams of olive oil
  • paprika
  • thyme
  • parsley
  • salt
  • pepper


In a pot add the olive oil and the chopped onions and fry them for a few minutes.
Add the chicken and let it cook for about 20 minutes.


Add the tomato juice, the mushrooms, the chopped bell peppers, the salt, the pepper, the thyme and the paprika and let it all cook for 1 hour at slow fire.


When ready add the chopped garlic and parsley and put the pot aside.


Enjoy!

Chicken in tomato sauce - recipe (including photos)



Ingredients:
  • chicken
  • 250 grams of tomato sauce (or tomatoes in sauce)
  • 1 spoon of fresh cream
  • 10 grams of butter
  • laurel
  • thyme
  • garlic
  • 1 onion
  • salt
  • pepper


In a covered pan fry the chicken with half of the butter and the laurel, for 10-15 minutes.


In a separate pan fry the chopped onion, the garlic and the remaining butter for a few minutes.



Add the tomato juice and the thyme over the onion and let it cook for 10 minutes.


Add the fresh cream and let it boil for almost 5 minutes.


Add the chicken over the tomato composition and put it in the oven at 220 Celsius degrees for 10-15 minutes.


We ate it with pasta, but you can combine it with potatoes or vegetables.
