The old town on the island surrounded by imposing walls would really deserve to be classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Another aspect that we saw for the first time: man made pools that remain filled with water even at low tide (see the third picture below).

The most pleasant surprise of the holiday.

The boats resting on the sea bed at low tide were impressive (for people living all their life in the middle of the continent).

Eating out - Restaurant " La Marmite", Erqui, Bretagne, France

Really good food. Fast service. Decent prices.

Afterwords, take a walk on the beaches of Erqui - a marvel, especially at low tide.
