Quinoa salad recipe

Ingredients:
  • 50 grams of mixed salad leaves
  • 30 grams of cheese
  • 4 teaspoons with quinoa seeds
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 radish
  • 2 teaspoons with walnut oil
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 teaspoon with vinegar
  • 1 glass with water
  • salt and pepper (according to taste)

Clean the quinoa seeds with cold water in abundance.

Then let the quinoa seeds rest in clean cold water for 10 minutes.

Then throw away that water and put the quinoa seeds and a glass of clean water at slow fire for 10-15 minutes or until cooked.

In the meantime clean and cut the salad leaves, the onion, the radish and the cherry tomatoes.

Put all the chopped vegetables in a bowl and then add the cheese, the strained quinoa seeds (which after boiling were cooled with cold water), the walnut oil, the vinegar, salt and pepper.

Mix well and the salad is ready!

Enjoy!

Eating out - Ferme Bout de Cote (Lacam-d'Ourcet, France)

The food was edible and rather basic, nothing extraordinary: better than in some restaurants, but not better than what we cook at home.

The price was the one practiced in the restaurants : 26 Eur/pers (for a 3-course menu, including tap water and a glass of house wine).

We didn´t like the cat wandering around on the kitchen floor.
