2014 Chrysanthemum festival, Lahr, Germany - part 2

Highly recommended: it's something you don't see anywhere else. However, do not buy flowers in pots to take home and plant in your garden, because they will either die either next year will not be so beautiful as when you bought them.

2014 Chrysanthema festival, Lahr, Germany - part 1

The festival is held on the streets of the city center and access is free of charge.

The usual grills, drinks and music contribute to the atmosphere.

Pumpkin festival 2014, Ludwigsburg, Germany

Just north of Stuttgart, a 3 hour drive from Luxembourg.

You have to pay an entry fee of 8,5 euro per adult (family tickets are available) for the gardens at the Blühenden Baroque. were the pumpkins exhibits are. More info can be found here.
