Gingerbread Christmas cookies - recipe (including photos)

  • 300 grams of semi-complete flour
  • 80 grams of butter
  • 80 grams of honey
  • 70 grams of sugar
  • 1 spoon with powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon with baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • a bit of grated ginger
  • a bit of cinnamon
  • a bit of nutmeg
  • a bit of salt

Preheat the oven at 160 Celsius degrees.

Mix the flour with the sugar, the powdered sugar, the baking powder, the cinnamon, the nutmeg, the ginger and the salt.

Add the melted butter, the honey and the egg and mix until you obtain a non sticky dough.

Spread the dough on the table and make a layer of 5-7 mm. Now make the biscuits using what forms you have or wish. We had a form of a funny looking man.

Put the biscuits on the baking paper and bake it at 160 Celsius degrees for 8-10 minutes.

If you want, before putting them in the oven you can decorate them with chocolate chips and candies, like we did :).

These are great with a glass of milk, especially in the morning.
