Hotel review - Best Western Goldenmile, Milan, Italy

The hotel is 10 km away from the city center.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The hotel has free parking and free Wi-Fi.

Eating out - 10-20 Restaurant, Milan, Italy

The Restaurant is simply awful. The food tastes like it's bought frozen from the supermarket and then heated at the microwave.

Higher than average prices and an annoying waiter.

Eating out - Restaurant "Pane e Tulipani", Milan, Italy

Prices were above average, but the food quality was less than average. Taking into account the poor location (a secondary street near the Central Station), we do not see how this restaurant has repeat customers.

Two cookies in Milan

We decided to try each time a couple of cookies from the cities we visit.

These are from Milan. We asked for something traditional but they didn't have, so we tried these.
Chocolate is good anytime:).

We don't remember their names, but, then again, because of their poor quality at EUR 25/kg, they were forgettable.

Hotel review - Hotel Marconi, Milan, Italy

We will start with the conclusion: this does not look like a 4 star hotel, but like a 2 star hotel.

The room is very small and everything in it is very old and rather smelly from the passage of time.

There is no kind of parking (even paid). The staff at the check-in are not helpful.

The breakfast contained only cold food, and the croissants were old.

When thinking of visiting Milano, don't plan to stay more than a couple of days. It's a pity to lose more time, when Italy has so much more to offer.

Extremely crowded and polluted city.

Relatively small city center, dominated by the well-known Duomo. Otherwise, it's the place to make other people rich by spending a lot of money on stupid looking things.
