Eating out - Grand Hotel President Olbia, Sardinia

We had the evening set menu (at the same time with a large group of French tourists).

The food was good and the service was fast. We had an appetizer, pasta, main course, dessert, a bottle of house wine and a bottle of sparkling water.

Eating out - Pizzeria Il Pepe Rosa, Cagliari, Sardinia

The pizza was very good and not too salty.

The service was fast and the price was more than decent (9 Eur/pizza)

Flamingos in Cagliari

In one of the suburbs of Cagliari (Quartu St. Elena, just opposite Poetto beach) you can admire these beautiful exotic birds.

Cagliari to Villasimius, Sardinia

From Cagliari to Villasimius there are a lot of beautiful beaches and that's why Sardinia is famous for.

Villasimius itself is very small. Luckily there are some restaurants and terraces to get a re-fill before your next swim.

Hotel review - DoubleTree by Hilton, Olbia, Sardinia

The room was clean and the bed was nice :).
Free wi-fi and free parking.

The breakfast was average and did not raise to Hilton standards.
Apart of what you can see on the plate you could have also scrambled or fried eggs with bacon.

Graffiti in Santa Teresa di Gallura, Sardinia

Usually we find that graffiti ruins the overall look of its support (be it wall, gate, etc), however, this time it looked nice (it was on the blinds of a store in the main town square).

Traditional Sardinian sweets

This is what we discovered this time:

We highly recommend this confectionery "Loi & Figli" which is located in Via Caen in Olbia (exiting the town on Via Aldo Moro, take a left just before Hotel Demar).

Trip to Porto Cervo, Sardinia

Deserted village during March when we stopped by.

While the "Flinstones" looking like villas are nice, we could not really understand all the hype about this place.
