There's plenty to eat and drink on the boat (a group of old timers were happily singing out-loud :).

You can stop at Boppard and take the return boat after 2 hours to come back in Koblenz.

Recently we had a nice, long, boat trip on the Rhine. We started from Koblenz, continued to the Loreley and then returned.

For 6 hours we admired the castles and the cities along the river.
