2013 Cactus caddy race at the Belle Etoile shopping centre

Friday, 24 May 2013, starting at 19:00, Cactus organises its first caddy race at the Belle Etoile (in Strassen, at the exit towards Mamer).

The race consists of completing as many times as possible a 400m obstacle track, by pushing a shopping cart.

Participation free of charge for all interested people aged over 18 years.

Registration to be made online until 8 May 2013. Only the first 20 teams of 5 people are accepted. Once this number is reached, registration is no longer possible.

There are also some prizes (first prize in the value of 1 000 euro), but for a caddy race its the pleasure of doing the forbidden thing, rather than the hope of winning the prize.

Dixit board game - review

Recently we discovered this card game called Dixit.

It is to be played with 5-6 players, which receive 6 fantasy cards.

The players take turns in being the story teller and then him and the other have to select on of their cards that would best suit the story.

Once the above stage is finished, the cards are mixed and turned over so that all can see them. Each player receives points based on whether the story teller's card was guessed or not by any of some of the players.

It is really captivating and it is a pleasant time to spent a Sunday afternoon.
