2016 Mantelsonntag in Luxembourg and Trier

Today all shops are open in Luxembourg from 14:00 to 18:00, due to the traditional Mantelsonndeg.

If you don´t have a warm coat for the winter, now it's the time to buy it :)

Public transportation is free today, so you can wander in any direction to find the perfect coat ;) .

Like every year (James :), the first Monday from September is dedicated to shopping. You can actually start shopping tomorrow, as the shops from the city center will be opened from 14 to 18.

The buses have also a special timetable on Monday so don´t forget to check it out.

Bretzelsonndeg 2016 in Luxembourg

This year Bretzelsonndeg falls on Sunday, 6 March 2016.

Because it´s a leap year , it´s a bit special and apparently in such situation it´s the girls turn to offer the bretzel :)
