Today all shops are open in Luxembourg from 14:00 to 18:00, due to the traditional Mantelsonndeg.

2016 duck race in Luxembourg on Saturday, April 23

The 2016 edition of the duck race will take place in the Petrusse Valley in Luxembourg City, on Saturday, April 23.

The start of the race is at 15:00, but one can have some sausages and a beer at the stands starting with 12:00.

The price to take part in the race is EUR 5 / duck.

Spectacle of lights in Luxembourg City

This evening and tomorrow evening you´ll have the opportunity to see this show of lights if you are still in town :).

The spectacle is a nice ending for the Luxembourgish Presidency of the European Union and will be held on Plateau du Saint-Esprit in front of the Cité Judiciaire .

Let´s party on 3th of July in Luxembourg Ville!

From July 1st, until the end of the year, Luxembourg will assure the presidency of the European Union.

This event will be celebrated with a big picnic in the city centre starting with 16:00, with food from all of the 28 countries members of the EU, music and ... shops open until 8 o´clock in the afternoon :).

The room was OK, but the breakfast was disastrous: scrambled eggs that never saw an actual egg, the cheapest ham and sausages, not to mention the frozen potatoes. What you could eat was only some bread with butter and jam ... nothing else!!!
