Journées du Patrimoine Luxembourg 2015

This year edition started on September 24 but you have time until October 11.

This year's theme is "Colours of the building heritage", with many museums, castles and other public buildings organising guided tours.

The 2015 edition of the "Festival des migrations, des cultures et de la citoyennete" started on Friday, March 13 and will end on Sunday, March 15.

Schueberfouer 2014 - traditional fair in Luxembourg City

Just another day and the party will start ... again.

This year Schueberfouer will start on August 22 and will last until September 10.

The 2013 edition of the "Festival des migrations, des cultures et de la citoyennete" will start on Friday, March 15 and will end on Sunday, March 17.

Eating out - Chez Rafael, Luxembourg City

The food was below average. It is basically a bar where one can also eat. They allow smoking in the same room where eating.

Eating out - Restaurant Orchidée, Luxembourg ville

The restaurant is not in a very crowded area but until we left all the tables were occupied.

The food was OK, but nothing very good. For first time Indian food eaters like us, I would say it was a disappointment - the food is not as exotic nor as spicy as we expected.

Eating out - Brasserie du Cercle, Luxembourg Ville

The food was great - Luxembourgish typical food, if you asked us.

You can easily feed four persons from the full menu of two.

The price is around Eur 80 for two and for all the food below.

Eating out - Restaurant Batucada, Luxembourg Ville

The Restaurant is close to the city center (St Esprit Parking).

The food was OK, but rather tasteless. We were expecting something more exotic for a Brasilian restaurant, but the food was just plain bland.

The shape of the dessert was....surprising.

One thing we didn't like: each time when someone left, the waiters came and cleaned the table with some powerful smelling spray. You can imagine that,s really unpleasant.
