Chicken in tomato sauce - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients:
  • 400 grams of chicken meat
  • 700 grams of tomato juice (use the Italian one, with no additives - only tomatoes and salt)
  • 30 milliliters of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • laurel
  • thyme
  • salt

Heat the olive oil and let the chicken fry for 30 minutes at medium fire.


Take out the chicken and in the remaining olive oil fry the onion until yellow.

Add the chopped bell pepper and let them cook for a few minutes.


Add the chicken, the tomato juice, the thyme, laurel, and salt.

Cover the pot and let it cook for another 30 minutes.

When ready add the chopped garlic and put the pot aside.

 Enjoy!

Located just half an hour drive from Vienna.

The prices are rather high compared to other outlets from Western Europe.

However, for those living in the region there isn't anything better around (even for those from Slovakia, Hungary or Romania).

Chicken with rice noodles- recipe (including photos)

Ingredients:
  • 400 grams of chicken breast
  • 250 grams of rice noodles
  • 50 grams of soya sauce
  • 100 grams of mushrooms
  • 100 grams of green beans
  • 200 grams of bell pepper
  • 200 grams of zucchini
  • 4 spoons of olive oil
  • 1 small carrot
  • paprika
  • pepper
  • curry
  • salt


Cut the chicken in small pieces.
Fry it until yellow.



Cut in small pieces all the vegetables.



Mix the vegetables with the chicken and soya sauce and let everything cook at slow fire at least half of an hour, or until the vegetables are cooked.


When everything is almost ready add paprika, pepper, curry and salt if needed.
Let it cook for 5 more minutes.


Add the chopped garlic and put the pot aside.


Mix the chicken and vegetables with the noodles (boiled according to the instructions on the packet).

Louisiana chicken - recipe (including photos)


Ingredients:
  • 4 portions of chicken meat
  • 400 grams of tomato juice
  • 5 spoons of sunflower oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 3 spoons of flour
  • 3 slices of bacon
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • thyme
  • laurel leaves
  • salt


Chop the chicken and the bacon and let them fry in the sunflower oil for 5-10 minutes.


Take out the chicken and the bacon and add the flour.
Let the flour cook at slow fire for about 10 minutes mixing continuously.



Add in the pan all the chopped vegetables (onion, bell peppers, carrot).
Let them fry for a few minutes.



Add the chopped garlic and the laurel leaves.


Add 300 milliliters of water, the chicken, the bacon, the thyme, salt, pepper and the tomato juice and let it cook at slow fire for 45 minutes.
