Eating out - Restaurant La Taverna, Perugia, Italy

The pasta doesn´t seem to be homemade or, if it was, it was in the freezer for a long, long time.

The main dish was very salty and nothing special in it (also probably something taken from the freezer).

As a conclusion: never again! WTF is this the highest ranked restaurant in Perugia on TripAdvisor?!

Eating out - Creperie du Centre, Josselin, France

It was one of the few restaurants in the village, located right in the center.

The food was good and the price was acceptable for France.

Bellow you have photos of the menu of the day.

The dessert was so delicious and we were so hurried to eat it, that we forgot to take photos.

Restaurant Amarine Luxembourg (Auchan shopping centre)

Today we had lunch at the Amarine restaurant in the Auchan shopping centre in Kirchberg.

It is a fish/seafood restaurant, part of a French chain. Its website can be found here.

We had the offer of the day: cod fillet with vegetables and rice, for EUR 12 per person. We are not specialists, but it did not impress us. It was plain, with no spice. The vegetables were tasteless, same as the rice.

The dessert was a Tiramisu, for EUR 6 per portion. It was a huge portion, but an average taste.

It was pretty crowded at lunch time, so there are people who enjoy going there. We didn´t.

Manora Restaurant - ideal place to eat in Lausanne, Switzerland

During our week-end in Lausanne we found a very nice self-service restaurant:

Located in a classical building in the center of Lausanne, from the outside it seemed to be a very exclusive and expensive restaurant.

Out of curiosity, we approached to see a price list and we've been stunned by their affordable prices: a chicken breast with side dish for only CHF 12 (approximately EUR 8.5).

They had a variety of choices for the main course (chicken, veal, fish, pasta, pizza, sea fruits) and a large offer of side dishes, salads and desserts.
As for drinks they had anything from freshly squeezed fruit juices, to beer, wine and ... free tap water.

The restaurant is very clean and is located on 3 floors with plenty of tables.

If you visit Lausanne, do not miss this restaurant. As can be seen in the ticket above, the address is: 17, place Saint-Francois, 1003 Lausanne.

Ikea restaurant - an option for lunch

If you find yourself near the Luxembourg - Belgian border around the lunch time, consider also the self-service restaurant inside the IKEA store as an option for lunch:

The choice of hot dishes is limited, but the food is tasty, sufficient and cheap.

There are enough places at lunch and everything is clean:

For first-time goers, IKEA is situated on the A6 highway that links Luxembourg City and Arlon, immediately after entering in Belgium (Exit 33, around 20 minutes drive from Luxembourg City centre)

Bon appetit !
