Tomato soup - recipe (including photos)

  • 800 grams of tomato juice
  • 400 grams of chicken meat
  • 150 grams of water
  • 2 spoons of sunflower oil
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 onion
  • few green beans
  • few cherry tomatoes
  • parsley
  • lovage
  • thyme
  • basil
  • garlic

Heat the sunflower oil and add the chopped onion. Let it cook for a few minutes at medium fire.

Add the chopped bell pepper, the green beans, the chopped carrot, the smashed garlic, the thyme, salt and the basil.

Let everything cook for 10 minutes in a covered pot.

Add the chicken, the water and the tomatoes.
Let it cook at slow fire for one hour or until the chicken is ready.

 Add the tomato juice and let it cook for another 10-15 minutes.

Put the pot aside from the fire and add the chopped parsley and the lovage.
