Meatballs with garlic in tomato sauce - recipe (including photos)

  • 700 grams of tomato juice
  • 300 grams of minced meat
  • 200 grams of water
  • 2 young onions
  • 2-3 spoons of olive oil
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1-2 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bulb of garlic
  • half slice of bread
  • parsley
  • pepper
  • thyme
  • salt

Mix the meat with the egg, the chopped onion, the grated carrot and half of the garlic, the pepper, salt, the bread and the parsley.

Make little balls.

Fry the chopped spring onions in the olive oil.

Add the tomato juice, the thyme, salt and the water and let it boil.

Add the meat balls and let them cook for 35-40 minutes at slow fire.

When ready, add the grated garlic and let it at slow fire for another 5 minutes.
