Peach cake - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients for the dough:
  • 350 grams of flour
  • 150 grams of butter at room temperature
  • 1-2 spoons with fresh cream
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon with baking powder
  • 1 vanilla sugar

Mix the butter with the flour previously mixed with the baking powder.

Add the egg yolks, the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the fresh cream and mix.

Let the dough rest for a few minutes.

 Ingredients for the filling
  • 400 grams of fresh cheese
  • 150 grams of yogurt
  • 5 egg whites
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 4 spoons of sugar
  • 3 peaches
  • 2 spoons with flour
  • salt

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar.

In a separate bowl beat the egg whites with a bit of salt.

Mix the beaten egg yolks with the fresh cheese, the yogurt and the flour.

Add the egg whites and mix slowly until well incorporated.

Separate the dough in two parts, one bigger and one smaller. Spread the big part of the dough on the table and cover with it an oven pan. Add the filling over the dough.

Over the filling add the sliced peaches.

On top make forms with the remaining dough.

Put the cake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 1 hour.

Cover the cake with an aluminum foil for the first 30-35 minutes.
