Rhubarb tart - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients for the dough:
  • 200 grams of flour
  • 125 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 1 spoon of cold water 

Mix all the ingredients and let it rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Ingredients for the filling:
  • 250 grams of rhubarb
  • 500 grams of strawberries
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Clean and cut the strawberries and the rhubarb.

Above them add the sugar and the vanilla sugar, mix and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Spread the dough on the table and put it in a baking form.

Add the rhubarb and the strawberries.
Put it in the oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.

For the crumble:
  • 100 grams of flour
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 30 grams of sugar
  • a bit of salt

Mix all the ingredients, until the butter is reduced to tiny pieces covered in flour (sand like structure).

Add the crumble and put it back in the oven at 160 degrees Celsius for another 30 minutes.
