African stew - recipe (including photos)

  • 600 grams of chicken
  • 150 milliliters of tomato juice
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 3 spoons with sunflower oil
  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon with cumin
  • 1 teaspoon with coriander
  • 1 teaspoon with grounded ginger
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 laurel leaf
  • half of a teaspoon with paprika
  • salt
  • pepper

Boil the chicken. Add some salt in the water.

Take out the chicken. Mix 300 milliliters of the the chicken soup with the butter.

In another pot add the sunflower oil and fry the onions until yellow.

Add the paprika, the cumin, the ginger, the pepper, the coriander, the laurel leaf and salt and let it fry for another 2-3 minutes.

Add the chicken soup, the tomato juice and the chicken and let it boil for 20 minutes mixing from time to time.

Add the chopped sweet potatoes and the chopped bell pepper and let it boil for another 20 minutes at slow fire.
