Salted cheese snails - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients for the dough:
  • 300 grams of flour
  • 230 milliliters of water
  • 5-6 spoons with sunflower oil
  • salt

Ingredients for the filling:
  • 350 grams of cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • salt

Mix the flour with the water, the sunflower oil and the salt and make a soft non sticky dough. Let it rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Spread the dough in seven parts.
Spread each part of dough on the table as thin as you can and add above the cheese (which had been previously mixed with eggs and the salt).

Roll the dough and make a snail.

Repeat the operation with each piece of the dough.

Let the snails rest for 10 minutes at room temperature. Before putting them in the oven brush an egg yolk above them.

Put them in the preheated oven at 180 Celsius degrees for 35 minutes.
