Cake with Nutella and walnuts - recipe (including photos)

  • 7 eggs
  • 25 spoons of sugar
  • 7 spoons of flour
  • 100 milliliters of milk
  • 250 grams of cream
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 100 grams of nuts
  • 100 grams of Nutella (or chocolate)
  • vanilla sugar

Cover with baking paper the bottom of the pan, and put the chopped walnuts in the pre-heated oven for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix well the egg yolks with 5 spoons of sugar (more if you like sweeter), and vanilla sugar. Put the pan on slow fire and add the milk, mixing continuously until creamy.

Let the composition to cool, and add the butter mixing continuously to incorporate it.

In a separate bowl beat the egg whites with 9 spoons of sugar.


and add them over the walnuts. Put them in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius.

After the dough is ready overturn it on a plate.


When cooled, add Nutella on top.

then add the composition from egg yolks, butter and milk..

and in top of it add the whipped cream (which is prepared by using the remaining sugar and 250 grams of cream).
