Black & white sponge cake - recipe (including photos)

  • 250 grams of wheat flour
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 11 spoons of sunflower oil
  • 1 spoon of baking powder
  • 3 spoons of cocoa powder
  • 6 eggs
  • vanilla sugar

Beat the egg whites with the sugar and, separately, the egg yolks with the vanilla sugar.

Mix the egg yolks with the egg whites.

Add the sunflower oil and mix.

Add the flower and the baking powder and mix.

Separately mix a small part from composition with 3 spoons of cocoa.

Pour the white composition in a tray.

On top add the cocoa composition and mix with a spoon in large circles from the bottom of the tray  upwards (somehow similar to a spiral).

Put it in the oven for 25 - 30 minutes at 190 Celsius degrees.
