Mango Kulfi - mango ice cream - recipe (including photos)

  • 1 mango
  • 500 milliliters of milk
  • 130 milliliters of sweetened condensed milk
  • 60 grams of fresh cream
  • a bit of saffron
  • few seeds of cardamon
  • 30-40 grams of pistachio

Clean the mango and cut it in small pieces.
Mash it with a blender.

Add the saffron, the cardamon seeds and the crushed pistachio and mix.

Put the milk at slow fire and let it boil for 15-20 minutes.
Add the condensed milk and the fresh cream.
Keep it over the fire another 5 minutes.

Let it cool.
Add the mango pulp and mix.

Pour the ice cream in forms and let it freeze.
