A while ago we bought a book about pasta :" I segreti della pasta".
Besides the description and recipes for every type of pasta, we also liked some unconventional recipes that we didn't try until now.
Ingredients for a pan size of 20cm by 20 cm:
Cut the cabbage in small pieces and let it boil at slow fire for 15 minutes together with the olive oil, the salt and the pepper.
Cut the sausages in small pieces and let them fry for a few minutes.
Add the sausages over the cabbage and let them cook for 10 minutes at moderate fire.
Prepare the bechamel sauce- see here.
Grease the bottom of the pan with the butter. Pour a thin layer of bechamel sauce then add the first layer of pasta sheets.
Add the cabbage composition over pasta and continue adding pasta, bechamel sauce and cabbage layers until the tray is full.
The last layer should be pasta covered with grated Grana Padano cheese and the egg.
Let it in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
Enjoy!
