Biscuit cake - recipe (including photos)

This cake is so easy, that anyone can do it, and it takes you only 30 minutes.

  • 300-350 grams of plain biscuits
  • 200 milliliters of milk
  • 150 grams of butter
  • 150 grams of powdered sugar
  • 4 spoons of cocoa powder
  • 3 spoons of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 rum essence
  • vanilla sugar

Mix the egg yolks with the vanilla sugar.

Mix the butter with the powdered sugar and the egg yolks.

Add the cocoa powder and mix.

In a separate bowl mix the milk with the sugar (the normal one) and the rum essence and put it at slow fire until the sugar is melted.

Soak the biscuits into the milk, but only for few seconds otherwise they will get too soft.

Over the biscuits add the cocoa/butter filling. Add layers until you finish the biscuits and the filling.
The last layer should be made of filling.

Above, you can add some cocoa powder or you can decorate it with fruits, walnuts etc.
